If you want to lose weight fast, you do need to take precautions so that you don't endanger your health and also to ensure that your weight will stay off. Here are a few tips to help you with fast safe weight loss.

First, you should reduce your calories gradually. Starvation diets do not work. Concentrate on eating more frequently (4-6 meals per day) to boost your metabolism, and eat foods that are low in fat and high in fiber, vitamins and minerals.

Another key is to make sure you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and to help absorb necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

Add exercise to your weight loss program. If you have any health issues, consult a physician before starting any strenuous exercise. Be sure to do plenty of stretching before exercising, and gradually increase the intensity of your workouts.
